The SXT Racing 3" Wide Sand Stick features a heavy duty EZ grip handle for maximum control and are a great option for prepping/shaping both foam and rubber tires. These sticks use 120 grit paper and can be used in 1/10 buggy, 1/10 dirt oval, 1/10 truck, 1/8 offroad, 1/8 onroad and 1/10 onroad applications.

Works well, and should last for many, many sets of tires.
I purchased both the small and larger, to see if there would be any benefit for the smaller. IMHO, although it does front tires well, I don't think it would be necessary. The larger one could handle all your duties.
