This is a bottle of SXT Racing 1.0 Rubber Tire Traction Compound. SXT 1.0 is a proprietary compound specifically designed for asphalt racing to restore the surface of your rubber tire to "like new" condition. SXT 1.0 can also be used to prep off road tires for high bite clay tracks. When you use 1.0 there is no waiting for a lap or 2 for the tires to "come in". The traction is there in the first turn, and has been proven on outdoor asphalt track temperatures exceeding 150° F! SXT 1.0 is also an excellent cleaner for rubber tires. Solvent or soap-based cleaners can strip the natural oils out of the rubber leading to premature drying and traction loss. SXT 1.0 actually helps retain the natural oils while loosening dirt and rubber particles embedded in the surface of the tire.

Pre-race Treatment
Coat the tire with 1.0 and allow to dry. Under most conditions the tires should be dry within 15 minutes. No need to do this just before the race...you can apply an hour or 2 ahead of time with no adverse effects. A second coat is recommended if time permits. If time is short and there are still some damp spots on the tire when your race is called, simply wipe them lightly with a clean rag and they will be dry by the time you hit the track.

Cleaner
After a run coat the tire with 1.0 and wipe immediately. If the tire is really dirty, a second cleaning may be necessary.

Maximum Asphalt Treatment
Clean tire with SXT 1.0. Coat tire with SXT 2.0 for as long as time permits between runs. Tire warmers may be used. Wipe 2.0 off tires and wipe down with SXT 1.0.

Recommended Use:

  • Rubber Tire Asphalt
  • Clay Offroad
