This is an optional ST Racing Concepts Machined Aluminum HD Front “Tall” Shock Tower, and is intended for use with the Jammin SCRT10 short course truck. The "Tall" front shock tower is designed to be used with longer rear shocks used up front. The upper portion of the shock tower includes various shock mounting positions and incorporates the body posts mounting holes as well.

NOTE: The body hole location might change slightly with this shock tower (approx. 4mm)

bends easily, looks cool, and can mount big bore shocks but really soft aluminum. going carbon!

ST Racing Concepts Aluminum HD Front “Tall” Shock Tower
While fit and finish is quite nice the aluminum is either too soft a grade, or needs to be thicker and gusseted around the high stress area of the incorporated body mount wings. After one outing of 1.5 hours of practice, 2 qualifiers, and one A-main, (more than a few hard tumbles) I had to remove the tower and bend it back with a vise and a heavy mallet (almost good as new). This problem was also noted in the RC Short Course Driver (Volume Three 2011) (Jammin/Hong Nor) Revamp article on page 80. I will continue to use this tower (Good for mounting Big Bore shocks) until I can’t bend it back anymore and then I will be upgrading to the Jammin carbon unit… Still for the price not a bad unit if you don't mind a bit of after run care...
