Approach angle is fantastic. You must run a servo style winch with this bumper as there is no room to mount one on the bumper.

Good fitment, this one actually came with screw hardware, but there's a flaw with the SSD machining process, the small screw holes towards the center of the bumper aren't machined in-line as well as the larger, so get ready to strip a few of the 1.5mm hex heads trying to get this in. Happened when I was installing the included metal plate for the front bumper on the SSD Trail King chassis build kit. Suggest everyone use the 2mm hex screws throughout when possible, the little ones aren't good for structural pieces unless space constraints are key. Otherwise, nothing wrong so far with the bumper itself.

SSD RC SCX10 II Rock Shield Wide Front Bumper
Bought this for my Gmade Bom since it’s described a it will fit. This is not entirely true. Will mount and screw down correctly, but it does not line up with the Bom’s body as it should. It ends up being way too forward and looks really bad. It also decreases you angle of approach, which defeats the whole purpose. Ended up modifying the mounting piece to bring it closer to the body and worked very well, lining up pretty nicely with the body and actually increasing approach angle (compared to stock bumper). Then tested with 4.75 Hyraxes and the bumper make too much contact with the tires at full stuff and steer. Again had to modify (this time the actual bumper) and ended up cutting the almost all the lower section of it to clear out the tires (actually cut off the section of the bumper where it starts to get an angle off from the center flat section where the Fairlead is at). Still have the full width upper part but all gutted underneath. Looks good and functions perfectly, but not what I expected.

SSD RC SCX10 II Rock Shield Wide Front Bumper
Great item! I added this bumper to my Axial SCX10 ii 2000 Jeep Cherokee and it was a perfect fit. A much better approach angle and a much less 'in your face' look compared to the stock bumper. I added a set of the Hot Racing Tow Shackles to complete the look. I highly recommend this bumper.

I bought this for my trx4 because it reads that is compatible with my trx4, but the screw holes don't line up with the chassis. I gra add to ground down the chassis tho make it fit. A the first day i took it to the trail it got bent i don't even know how
