SSD RC 8 Hole 1.9” Steel Beadlock Wheels (Black)
I bought these wheels to match the look of my TRX4 Bronco. They came quickly and in great shape. I mounted them on 1.9 Hyrax from Proline along with Dual Stage Foams. They were a complete pain in the ass to install. I have done several beadlock installs but these just caused me all kinds of hell.

The trick to finally getting them on is to stretch the rubber on the edges out far, going all around the tire. This will cause the rubber to tighten up and the bead will sit more firm. A little cooking oil on the edges let me slide the back and fronts on to the bead and more importantly, on to each other so I could bolt them up.

I love the look for the crawler, they perform fantastic on the backyard course with a mixed material ramp at 50 degree climb. I am giving them a 4/5. I wish the design was a bit better. In fact, they make a tad more expensive wheels that are much easier to put on so consider spending the extra $10 or so.
