The Spektrum SR6100AT 6-Channel 2.4GHz DSMR Surface Receiver was built around frequency-agile DSMR technology to deliver superb range and response, especially in places where multiple 2.4GHz systems are in use at one time. SR6100AT features patented Spektrum AVC (Active Vehicle Control) and full range telemetry capabilities. AVC Technology reads your control inputs, senses your car's direction and makes as many as 180 steering and power adjustments per second so you can hold the line without holding back. SR6100AT taps into telemetry functions from Spektrum Smart Technology electronic speed controls and conventional Temp, RPM and voltage sensors via X-Bus adapter.

Features:

  • 6-channel DSMR / DSM2 receiver
  • Full-range telemetry capabilities with Spektrum Firma Smart ESC
  • Great for models that will benefit from AVC Technology that need additional channels for lights, shift servos and other accessories
  • Steering priority puts the driver in complete control
  • Fully adjustable-set the precise amount of stability you want or turn off if desired
  • Water-resistant "Realkote" coating protects electronics

Spektrum RC SR6100AT 6-Channel 2.4GHz DSMR Surface Receiver w/Telemetry & AVC
Started out with SR6100AT as a test item, to check it out is it any good?. Fly or die. Over recent months have learned to like it more and more. Its simple to operate, or more accurately intuitive, it supports fast frame rates, it also supports a fairly complete telemetry set. So far it has proved to be robust, reliable and a silent top performer. Usefully, the telemetry doesn't require any extra cabling, which is great. You get a good set of answers back at the handset for most items.
Additionally it includes "AVC" which is a toggle on/off item, but does need time for set up and tweaking. For racing and purists it is just left off, but on a club day/fun day, at the end of the afternoon when the tires went out to lunch and never quite came back, AVC can be toggled on and will do a surprisingly good job of keeping the errant vehicle viable to the end of the day. Turn a ragged late afternoon into a fun day after all.
Recommended. Note, it plays nicely with Firma ESC, it has good tight integration.

Spektrum RC SR6100AT 6-Channel 2.4GHz DSMR Surface Receiver w/Telemetry & AVC
I like it. It works better than the previous models. Seems like it's a more open case to wash out more easily. I like having AVC available it works well on high powered dirt vehicles and dirt tracks.

Spektrum RC SR6100AT 6-Channel 2.4GHz DSMR Surface Receiver w/Telemetry & AVC
Over the past 5-6 years I’ve seen the prices steadily increase on all Spektrum products. Especially the ones that have AVC.
Their products are not worth the money in my opinion. Dumbo RC receivers don’t have telemetry but who honestly needs it?
You are just paying for the Spectrum name and that’s all I’m saying about it.

Castle ESC owners beware, it is a pain to calibrate. Castle requires you to go to full throttle before powering on the esc in order to calibrate and find the forward position however, the receiver failsafe prevents you from doing this, to my knowledge there is no fix for this other than to keep trying and eventually get lucky. If you have the Spektrum Firma you will have no issues. Castle owners go in a different direction or stick with the standard Spektrum receivers without AVC or telemetry.
