TOUCHSCREEN WITH ANDROID-POWERED INTERFACE

And, because the interface is a fully functional Android system with a dedicated quad-core processor, it will work with an evolving list of apps from the Google Play store.

WI-FI CONNECTIVITY
When connected to Wi-Fi, the iX12 gets even smarter. Spektrum AirWare™ Touch app update-alerts are automatic, plus you can download model setups and add third-party apps. Listen to music on Spotify or Pandora directly from your radio or even update your Facebook status just before you fly.

BLUETOOTH CONNECTIVITY

It's a nice radio. There is so much that I like about this radio.

The gimbals are smooth, transmitter feels good in my hands, switches are easily accessible, screen is bright outside, 4 inch color touchscreen, LOUD speaker (loud to me). wifi and Bluetooth, the Android OS is easy to navigate, the Spektrum Airware makes it easy to set up models, great product support from Amain and Spektrum, fully assignable switches, 12 channels, antennae diversity, compatible with crossfire, long battery life-I can go two days with lots of flying between charging and then some by simply shutting off the touch screen. The battery will go a full day no problem with lots of flying with the screen on, micro USB cable for charging. 600 dollars is nothing to sneeze at, but the radio is worth every penny with its features (too many to list here) and durability.

I bought mine from Amain because of their fast shipping, friendly support and VIP rewards programs.

The latest firmware updates make this radio much better. Model switching is faster and easier, and everything runs quicker. The hardware is perfect. Smooth gimbals, great build quality, form switches. The screen is extremely bright and the sound is loud. With the strong vibration motor, alerts are much easier to detect.

Love this new radio and the Android system that has been added is a positive addition. I have been slowly changing all my radio control transmitters and receivers over to Spectrum. The IX12 is the best upgrade I have made as of right now. Couldn't be happier with this purchase and the ability and functions of this new radio technology.

This transmitter works great %75 of the time. But for the %25 all I can say is unless you like to repair large amounts of damage to your aircraft then I wouldn't buy this piece of junk. I have a DX9 that has never failed me.

The first one had a minor issue where there was no option to chose a helicopter model. Amain was great about it and sent me a new replacement. This transmitter is awesome. It feels great in the hands and is easy to use if you read the instructions. It automatically updates every time you log in to google play and use spektrum app. If connects to Wi-Fi easily and is very easy to navigate. It has more functions than I need, but it’s nice to have more than less.

This radio is unbelievable it dos everything I ever wanted a radio to do why would you ever want a radio with open tx when you have to have a developers degree to understand it the ix 12 is simple to understand and use if this radio cannot do it then you don’t need one this thing is awesome!!!!!

This is probably the biggest waste of time radio. half the time it doesn’t even stay charged so if you decide you want to go fly you’ll get there and in couple minutes you’ll start hearing transmitter battery low don’t waste your money I have a DX8 so I copied everything onto a flash drive and went back to it because it works.
