Spektrum RC DX3S DSM 3CH Surface Radio w/Telemetry (w/FREE SR301 Receiver!)
Dude you honestly don't think that airtronics and the other companies are made in the usa do you.....? LMAO

They are ALL MADE OVERSEAS. Whether it be taiwan, china, japan, or korea.

Spektrum RC DX3S DSM 3CH Surface Radio w/Telemetry (w/FREE SR301 Receiver!)
Great features for a great price, could use a backlight, it feels toy-ish, and it appears to lack the build quality of similar airtronics or futaba radios probably because it's made in China to reduce costs. the trim and aux channel button sticks and is loose. The seems where the plastic casing halves join is really wide since the cheaply made plastic doesn't fit well. If you weren't paying for the research and design this radio would only cost about 35 bucks.

Spektrum RC DX3S DSM 3CH Surface Radio w/Telemetry (w/FREE SR301 Receiver!)
These radios signal strength is not as strong as airtronics, futaba, radiopost etc, therefor your car will be controlled not under your command sometimes. Also the steering wheel spring breaks and the range is TERRIBLE!! but it has a nice feel in the hand

Spektrum RC DX3S DSM 3CH Surface Radio w/Telemetry (w/FREE SR301 Receiver!)
I purchased two of these about two months ago (one for me and one for my son). The steering spring broke in mine after only 3 weeks. I took the radio apart and rigged it back together. I called Spektrum and asked them to send me a spring and they wanted me to send the radio to them for warranty instead. I would be responsible for shipping costs. I told them that that was ridiculous for a 10 cent spring. After some arguing, they gave in and sent me a spring (only 1). A few weeks later the spring in my son's radio also broke also! After some research, I found that this is a common problem. I will never purchase another Spektrum product again. Aside from the spring, the radio has a very cheap feel to it. I should have just waited for the Airtronics which was out of stock at the time.

Spektrum RC DX3S DSM 3CH Surface Radio w/Telemetry (w/FREE SR301 Receiver!)
a friend and I both purchased this radio and we both experienced simular malfunctions, the radio will lose signal and cause the throttle to fully engage regardless of the failsafe. My friends rs4 evo went full speed into a wall (rest in peace) and my nitro truck took off into a ravine (rest in peace) i will never so much as look at spektrum radios again.

Spektrum RC DX3S DSM 3CH Surface Radio w/Telemetry (w/FREE SR301 Receiver!)
Be warned, Specktrum radios are unreliable, they are CHEAP quality, and Will break connetion for no reason, even with an electric car, it will randomly stop, and resume w/o triggering the internal fail safe, this sent my Nitro into a wall at full throttle, despite a Fail safe on the car. You get what you pay for, Also the Telemetry is a Gimmick, they are $.05 sensors, that just spit random numbers out, and the temp sensor is useless, it is the worst radio on the market by far.
