Spektrum RC Deluxe Transmitter Case (Aircraft)

The case it self is decent, get what you pay for. Most disappointing part is the foam inserts. They are very flimsy and almost needs to be replaced with better foam. When you pull the radio out of the case the foam is stuck to the radio. You'll need to trim the foam when you get it, the cutout is too small for my DX6i. I would try and replace the foam with some Pelican case brand foam or somthing. Overall the case looks nice and it's a heck of a lot better then throwing your transmitter in the back seat. Protects from damage.

Bought one of these with my DX8. The radio seems to have a lot of room in the case and does not fit as well as I would expect. The case is not made of alumn as the write up suggests its got alumn around all of the edges and the hinges and what not but the actual panels are made of some sort of thin compressed board. When picking it up yesterday the handle actually pulled out of the box showing how little reinforcement there is around that area. The case looks pretty but its really been a disappointment from day one, I would suggest looking for a better made/fitting case. Even if Horizon does replace it for me its still not a case I trust or want.
