This is the Spektrum A7000 Metal Gear Mechanical Retract Aircraft Servo. The A7000’s heavy duty metal gears, 5-pole ferrite motor and class leading 260 oz-in of torque is ideal for mechanical retract systems. The A7000 retract servo is fully proportional and endpoint adjustable for easy setup. Its metal gears ensure long life under the rigors of lifting heavy-duty wheels and struts.

The A7000 features adjustable travel which makes installation easy and hassle free, no more difficult adjustments with retract linkages to get the proper throw needed to go lock to lock. The A7000’s incredible 260 oz-in of torque can rotate up to nearly 180 degrees. When paired with the DX8 or other transmitters with a servo speed function, the travel speed of the A7000 can be slowed to actuate the gear at slower speeds for a scale look.

Spektrum RC A7000 Metal Gear Mechanical Retract Aircraft Servo
I used this in the retracts on my Kyosho P-40 50EP. Not a lot to say except it does its job very well. Has a very smooth and powerful movement to it, even after I slow it down with my DX8.
