The SkyRC Brushless Motor Analyzer is a precision electronic device that is specially designed for measuring the KV value, RPM, current drawn, motor timing, vibration noise level and checking the function of hall effect sensors of a brushless motor. It comes with a 2x 16 character LCD that is able to display real time measuring values of either sensor or sensor-less brushless motor.

Features:

  • KV / VOLT / RPM / AMP
    • KV (RPM per Volt): Show the rotor RPM/Volt at a certain throttle power level.
    • U (VOLT): Show the input voltage to motor checker.
    • RPM (Revolution Per Minutes): Show the rotor revolution at a certain throttle power level.
    • I (AMP): Show the current drawn by the motor at a certain throttle power level.
  • Average Motor Timing
    • MOTOR TIMING: Physical endbell timing, usually between 0 and 70 degrees, requires tools to rotate the sensor board.
  • Noise Level
    • NOISE LEVEL: Poor assembly motor, inferior bearing and unbalanced rotor can generate a vibration. Whenever a motor in air vibrates, it causes compression waves in the air. These waves move away from the motor as sound or noise. Vibration noise of motor is adverse the Performance of motor. By measuring the noise level of motors, you can select the less noise motor. The decibel (dB) is a logarithmic unit used to express noise level in this motor analyzer.
  • Phase A, B and C Sensor Timing
    • Phase A, B and C Sensor Timing: Show the actual timing of three sensor elements.

SkyRC Brushless Motor Analyzer (Sensored & Sensorless)
I been on the fence about purchasing one of these for roughly 6 months when I got into the no prep drag racing. I never was able to see one work first hand so YouTube was the best info I had to go off of. I tested a 3.5T motor with it and did fine tuning with the timing and have found this will be a very good tool for my Racing program come spring but this also can be useful for my rock crawler motors as well.

SkyRC Brushless Motor Analyzer (Sensored & Sensorless)
All the years in the hobby and for some reason I never spent $100 on one of these. What an incredible difference and super easy to use. No more guessing! Dialed in the motor on my buggy, drag car and speed runner in less than 45 minutes total. Must have...buy one!

SkyRC Brushless Motor Analyzer (Sensored & Sensorless)
Works great! Allows a me to fine tune my motored even multiple of the same motor models. I have been able to document out of box results and will be able to monitor over time.

SkyRC Brushless Motor Analyzer (Sensored & Sensorless)
I just got a chance to use this analyzer to check my KV rating, and POOF!! it smoked up my work area. I just hope I can get a replacement. So looking forward to using it for the last couple of days I received it.

SkyRC Brushless Motor Analyzer (Sensored & Sensorless)
Excellent tool, a must have for every tool box. people say the best thing to due is tune your motors on the track. That is true to a degree, but when you don't have days to spend at the track figuring out your set-up, that is where the motor analyzer shines. I literally unboxed my new motor, stuck it on the analyzer, tuned the motor to pull 6 amps which ran motor temps at 136 on a 85 degree day after a 5 minute heat race, ran my best heat race to date and ended up on the podium, no testing and tuning, just double checking!!

SkyRC Brushless Motor Analyzer (Sensored & Sensorless)
This is my first motor analyzer but with that being said. I only know of 3 that are made sky, g force and trinity. G force and sky are the same I believe from what I read. It a great tool to have help me find a sweet spot for my kid 2wd sct 4 amp was a good setting for him in 17.5. Found out that my novak was close to it timing on the 17.5 and 4.5 turn motor while I have a tekin 13.5 that was way off. But my noise level was good on 2 motor. One was high at 105 db change bearings and it went to 89db. I really love the db level cause being hearing impaired it was nice to see the beaing need a replacement. You can contact the motor manufacturer and ask what amps the suggest to run and use this tool to get there. The connection are are very solid and tight to. I used a 200 mm senor wire though since all my motor are installed the included one is short. I think the little rubber things on the feet of the motor holder should have like a strap or bigger rubber than the little 1/16 piece they have on them. It still worth the stars. Cant wait to play with it some more.
