This is an optional Serpent 2.5mm SDX4 Light Weight Aluminum Chassis. The standard aluminum hard coated chassis is 2mm thick, so this 2.5mm thick chassis will flex less which, making the SDX4 less aggressive and easier to drive, especially on higher traction tracks. The extensive machining will keep the weight down to similar values as the 2mm chassis.

Serpent 2.5mm SDX4 Light Weight Aluminum Chassis
This is a must have if you are running on high bite tracks, way more rigid then the stock chassis. Seems to calm the buggie down quite a bit and feels more nautral, awesome upgrade.
