This is a replacement Serpent 2.0mm Aluminum Chassis to be used with the S411 4.0 Aluminum Chassis Version Touring Car (SER400017).
Serpent offers three different chassis to choose from. Depending on which version S411 4.0 you have, you can use the other chassis as an optional tuning aid.
- SER401639: 2.0mm Carbon Chassis. Mainly used on very high traction tracks and is made from ultra stiff carbon and has less flex than the 2.25mm version
- SER401640: 2.0mm Aluminum Chassis
- SER401641: 2.25mm Carbon Chassis. This chassis and the alu chassis are very close in handling. In general the alu is used more indoors on carpet, where the 2.25mm carbon is more for outdoors on asphalt; it depends on tracks and personal preference too. The alu chassis has equal lowered sides which has even better CG and optimal flex.
