This is an optional Serpent 14° Aluminum C-Hub Set. This package includes CNC machined left and right side c-hubs that have been black anodized and laser engraved for easy identification. Additionally, the package also includes four top hat collars, and two 3x14mm button head screws.

These optional C-Hubs are available in 12° (SER600304), 14° (SER600665) and 16° (SER600663) options. Caster angle affects the amount of steering the car has going in and out of a turn. Less caster increases off power steering at corner entry, but will decrease straight line stability and increase suspension efficiency. More caster will increase straight line stability and make the car more stable through bumpy sections, but decreases off power steering at corner entry while at the same time increasing on throttle steering at corner exit.

From Billy Easton: "At first I ran 16 deg blocks, which seem to help in rougher tracks, but they might push a little too much on tight tracks. The 14 degree blocks seemed to work really well as the best balance between steering and handling. The more caster you run, the more on throttle steering you have, less through corner steering. Basically, they push more going into the turn, but have more on corner exit. If you have a corner entry oversteer you can use more caster to reduce that and smooth out the steering. the bi product still though is more corner exit steering. In some cases, they can make you faster due to more corner speed, but sometimes they can make you slower cause its under steering, it really depends on the track"

Serpent 14° Aluminum C-Hub Set
Now I'm a believer! Takes a little of steering going into a tight turn but serpent has a lot of that anyway and you can accelerate a lot faster with the added on power steering. Ordered another set for the truggy (14°)
Wish they come in plastic to save some bucks for my 3 cars.
