The ready to run Shredder includes a 1300Kv brushless motor, 80Amp brushless ESC, powerful steering servo, and 2.4GHz radio system. At 670mm (26.38") long, the Shredder is a big truck! The latest generation of Shredder vehicles includes large high-grip off-road tires, big bore oil filled shocks, and an incredibly powerful brushless power system.
To ensure the Shredder can handle all that power, many of its plastic components have been updated with high impact molded plastic components for lasting durability and performance. Three gear differentials are used, not only to protect the drivetrain, but to add performance characteristics likened to an 1/8 scale buggy. Its large size allows the Shredder to drive where many 1/10 scale vehicles only dream of going.
Even though the Shredder is an impressive performing large scale brushless truck, it's main goal has always been to offer large scale vehicles, at a much lower cost than the market typically allows. While most large scale brushless vehicles on the RC market today are too expensive for the average hobbyist, the Shredder is here to open the door into large scale RC ownership, to those who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford it.
