Schumacher CAT SX3-Pro CF 1/10 4WD Off Road Buggy Kit
literally Best 4x4 1/10 buggy x far!
I bought this kit from a friend and all I can say is that although a bit pricy it's by far the best thing out there for 1/10 4x4 buggies. Astonishing quality, seriously nothing touches it, (I've had Associated, Durango, Kyosho, Losi, Mugen, Traxxas, Ofna, and an SX2 before this one and only the other Cat was as nice but wasn't quite as dialed. The engineering could be the center of a graduate MIT class, all while being super easy to work on and tune for a wheeler. And all this shows on the first lap at the track, it's like getting behind the wheel of the Red Bull F1 car after only driving NASCAR.! It is Sooo smooth, ballistically fast, and handles like it's glued to the track and jumps like Shawn White on a snowboard (meaning you can pretty much put it wherever you want and how you want). While it is bit pricy, as with most things it pays for itself quickly and over time as it is very very durable for a 4 wheel buggy and many of the parts (knowing from experience on the SX2) just seem to last forever. The only hop up for durability that should have come with it are the alum. front suspension mounts but even those aren't necessary unless you like to hit walls and pipes at full speed like I tend to.
No worries about the belts as they have (on both the Sx2 and Sx3) proven to be way more durable, and way way less maintenance then any other wheeler I've had or raced with including the shaft drive of the B44 and especially the Durangos, (not to say those are bad cars, they rock too but I spent many times the amount of time on maintenance and repair of the drivetrains in both of those cars as I ever have in those of either cat.
If you are an RC fan who likes the best, this is the benchmark of the class.

By far the most reliable car Ive ever owned. Get the bando belts and maybe the front ally hinge holders and you're golden. Strong out of the box with a setup that works out of the box. Glue up your wheels and go.
Predictable to drive...highly tunable...lots of fun to add hop ups and upgrades...balanced chassis...and stunning good looks. There is no substitute for this car. Once you have one you will never want to let it go.
Sometimes a car comes around that is just too good. This is the car. This is the 4wd benchmark. While everyone else is wrenching on their cars...you will be running yours. ;)

Schumacher CAT SX3-Pro CF 1/10 4WD Off Road Buggy Kit
Very easy car to drive, i got this baby and drove it the first time at my local club night and placed 5th out 10 and i only started racing 2 months ago.
Racing in stock 17.5t and this thing handles very predictably, belts have a very unique sound. Only issue i have found on my model and is very well documented is the middle pulley for the belts click this apparently can be fixed by putting in a .2mm shim and tightening the shaft.

Schumacher CAT SX3-Pro CF 1/10 4WD Off Road Buggy Kit
I have the S-1 kit (bought from Amain), haven't put it together yet cause I got a great deal on a hopped up Pro CF just days after ordering the S-1. Supposedly the S-1 has more chassis flex and is better on the outdoor tracks I race on... all I know is the Pro CF blew my mind when I raced it last Saturday! First time on a track with it and it had totally predictable handling on the super loose (least traction track to date that I've ever raced on) dusty track. I literally raced it like I stole it because I had to learn it's limits and the track has a reputation for being a "car breaker" anyways. All 5 cars that went w/ me and my crew were broke when we left (minor stuff) but the CAT only had a broken front arm that I got while in the lead during the main.... tried to make a straighter line than I should have and clipped some heavy PVC at full speed. MAN, if only my Losi 8 2.0 nitro buggy handled like this car! Get the FAB (SCHU3607) so the front brakes won't lock when you're braking hard for a turn. Can't say enough good things about this car! GET ONE!!
