The Samix Traxxas TRX-4 Brass Portal Cover & Scale Brake Rotor Set is a precision machined portal cover that adds 55 grams of unsprung weight to the front or rear of your TRX-4, for improved forward weight bias and performance. Unlike other brass parts, these feature a stealthy black finish, with chamfered edges that give the parts an unmatched look that offers a touch of bling to your scaler.
Plus, when combined with the Samix steering knuckles (SAMTRX4-4412 - not included) and c-hubs (SAMTRX4-4014 - not included) you have the ultimate brass upgrade package that will dramatically improve the performance of your TRX-4.

I added these along with every other brass part that Samix makes for both the front and rear axles of my TRX4, and along with a set of Yeah Racing alloy axles and brass diff covers, there is no plastic remaining on my rigs axles. The improvement in performance and appearance is huge. Adding as much weight down low makes the biggest difference for crawlers. I also add several ounces of stick on lead weights to the inside of each wheel before i mount the tires which also helps a ton... Great product! I have a ton of Samix parts and the quality is top notch!

Another must have, especially with a lot of brass up front on your truck. Will keep the rear end planted on decents. After a year of good solid use they continue to perform like new.
