I like the look and feel do these link mounts. They have a good amount of weight to add down low. That being said, the black coating was applied to the whole mount, including the threads for all the cap screws. Luckily I have an m3 tap for the link and shock mounts, but I had to buy an m2.6 tap for the holes that attach to axle. Also the coating doesn't allow the link mounts to sit flush in the axle holes. I will have to do some work to get them to fit correctly. For something that should be a direct replacement they required me to do a lot of finish work.

Adds a nice amount of weight down low. Looks great especially not having the stock red link mounts.

These link mounts are awesome! Machine work and finish are excellent, and the black finish looks better than other brass parts. They fit the stock AR44 housing perfectly - meaning you can use them on the Beef Tubes AR44. But, they will not fit the SSD AR44. This is not the first time I have had issues with upgrades from other brands not fitting SSD parts...not sure who to blame but Im leaning towards pointing the finger at SSD.
