The RPM Pit-Pro Extreme Car Stand is a unique car stand that delivers new levels of convenience and versatility.
The Pit-Pro Extreme has numerous adjustability options to fit virtually any 1:12 -1:8 scale chassis and more. The infinitely adjustable support arms can sweep out to roughly 6.125" (155mm) wide all the way in to 2.125" (54mm). There are also 28 different mounting points for the support posts, providing added versatility to ensure the vehicle sits exactly as desired.

Adjustability doesn't stop there! The support arms sit on top of a swivel platform that allows the vehicle to rotate a full 360 degrees and tilts by as much as 45 degrees. Tilt angle is easily locked down with the included wing nut.
All this sits atop an ultra-stable base, with four load-spreading legs that can easily be moved to any required position. The RPM Pit-Pro Extreme is sold with all necessary hardware and comes complete with 12 soft, self-adhesive, non-slip pads for the legs and arms to prevent unwanted movement of the stand or vehicle.

Features:

  • Fits most flat or semi-flat chassis plates with or without center battery channels. May not work with a ladder or TVP style chassis.
  • Tilt angle varies by the width of the vehicle and features installed. Tilt angle is higher with vehicle tires removed.
  • The Pit-Pro Extreme is impervious to most chemicals, but the small, non-slip pads have limited chemical resistance. Please use caution to prevent cleaners from attacking the pads.
  • Designed and manufactured in the USA.

RPM Pit-Pro Extreme Car Stand (Black)
I ordered one of these stands figuring that if it didn't work for my T6.1, it would be at least be good enough to display a small stunt-quad I built.

It turned out to be fairly good, to the point that I am ordering another for the track, and still one more for the quadcopter!

These stands are at their weight limit with 1/10 brushless outdoor cars and trucks, but multirotors, and even some airplanes tend to fit awesome, as well as being lighter vehicles in general.

My single complaint is that the kit needs 6 extra washers. two for the pivoting point, so that the screw head doesn't sink through the pedestal, and one for each leg pivot to keep the screws from backing out as one works the legs back and forth.

It rotates nicely and very smooth after having been to the outdoor loam tracks for 2 weeks with it. I found immediatly though, that due to how small the tilt screw is, it is difficult to get the screw tight enough to stop the stand flopping with a 4 1/2 pound, 2.1ish Kilo, car on it unless the stand is set for that rig to sit on it's center of gravity, and certain screws cranked or glued down.

The pegs standing off the top layer of the stand can be aligned with the sides of a chassis, and fit well enough to mine, that the stand "clings" to them as I work, yet never sticks when I pick the truck up.
This does however offer a custom fit stand for any chassis 'in it's weight and size class'.

Overall, for sensible use and expectations, 4 stars, but for the washers, and difficulty tightening the tilting pivot.

RPM Pit-Pro Extreme Car Stand (Black)
I bought this when it first came out.
Can’t hold a car without bending. The portion the legs attach to bends.
I bolted a medal disc to this base and glued medal rods to the legs to stiffen them.
    Would not buy again.

RPM Pit-Pro Extreme Car Stand (Black)
These display stands are awesome. They can be adjusted to enable the RC vehicle to be positioned at almost any angle and are strong enough to support even large 1/6 scale crawlers.

RPM Pit-Pro Extreme Car Stand (Black)
Good idea but poor execution. Materials too soft and malleable for a stand. Avoid like the plague.

I was not impressed by this stand. It wont fit my SC10 short course truck and for buggy its very unstable.
