This is the RPM LaTrax Teton/Rally Front/Rear Chassis and Differential Covers. These tough covers offer the incredible strength that RPM parts are known for. By rerouting the upper chassis plates around the outside of the pivot ball mounts this has allowed RPM to link the pivot ball mount directly into the differential bulge. This creates a much stronger setup along with being combined with RPM's engineering grade materials gives you an excellent boost in strength. Package includes one front chassis cover, one rear chassis cover, one front differential cover and one rear differential cover.

RPM LaTrax Teton/Rally Front/Rear Chassis & Differential Covers (Blue)
The parts look great and look like a way stronger design and I love how the upper frame brace goes around the outside of the pivot balls instead of the inside. However I ordered two sets of these and neither one would work. The frame brace fit fine, but the diff covers were causing binding with the diff gears. Tried shimming the gears, not shimming the gears and tried shaving a bit of material off around the drive shaft pinion cause it looked like it was scrubbing there. However no matter what I did, once I installed the diff covers from RPM the diff would bind up where as with the factory diff it was smooth as silk. I hope RPM fixes this issue because I absolutely love RPM parts and normally they fit perfectly. But something isn’t quite right with the two sets I received unfortunately. Maybe I just got two bad sets or something. In the end I could’ve ran them but the binding was making the car slow down really quickly when releasing throttle and just didn’t feel right.
