This is a set of two optional black front A-arms from RPM and are intended for use with the Associated RC10GT2, T4 and SC10 1/10 scale trucks. The long-running success of RPM A-arms for the original GT has led to the release of RPM A-arms for the newest gas truck to come from Associated – the GT2. RPM GT2 A-arms were designed to solve several customer-related complaints about the stock A-arms. Foremost is durability. The RPM GT2 front and rear A-arms are designed to withstand some serious abuse! RPM has redesigned the entire front end, replacing the stock front bulkhead with a version that helps spread impact forces over a larger area at the inner hinge pin mounts. RPM front A-arms are wider at the inner hinge pin mounts by nearly 3/16” without altering suspension geometry.

RPM also focused on the hinge pin retaining system used on the stock A-arms. Using a small screw hole so close to the hinge pin like the stock arms weakens the A-arms at that point. RPM moved the hinge pin retaining screws in-line with the hinge pins, significantly strengthening the A-arms in the process. By eliminating the smaller 2-56 hinge pin retaining screws, RPM has eliminated the problem of the hinge pins falling out due to varying screw head diameters, which seems to be a rather large problem.

The final focus was on slop elimination. RPM's strict quality control allows them to tighten up all of the tolerances without fear of binding the suspension system. The final result is a smooth, free moving suspension with minimal A-arm slop. The tighter tolerances on RPM A-arms allows other critical adjustments such as camber and toe angles to be much more consistent, which provides better and more consistent control of the GT2.

NOTE: These arms will work on the RC10T4, and SC10 trucks but the stock outer hinge pins are too long. This conversion will require you to modify your stock hinge pins by cutting them shorter, or purchase Associated Part ASC7927.

RPM Front A-Arms w/Bulkhead (Black) (GT2, SC10)
Absolutely a must have for the SC10. Broke numerous stock A-arms before installing these. In my opinion, it changes the entire feel of the truck... but in a good way!

Great arms... just drill a 1/16th hole and put the 2-54 screw from the stock arms in and the stock pin works! Just to be safe I did it on both sides!

RPM Front A-Arms w/Bulkhead (Black) (GT2, SC10)
They are a great quality arm. Very strong and well built except for one flaw. Yes thye have a good locking hinge pin system on the chassis side but they forgot about the caster block side. It eventually wears out and you drop that hinge pin out all the time because there is nothing to hold it in. BIG oversight.

These things are top notch quality, real beefy, and look great. The system to lock in the hinge pin is better than factory. If you ever break an a-arm, this is the only way to go. The only thing that I didn't like on these is the shock mount is only on one side of the shock instead of both side like the stock arms.
