Robinson Racing Losi 8ight X/Wide Steel Spur Gear (47T)
Switched to this gear along with Robinson 14T steel tooth clutch bell and drastically improved the gearing mesh and longevity of the clutch bell and bearings. Its heavier than the stock version, but the butter smooth mesh and increase in reliability is better the weight difference. This gear completes the switch from aluminum to all steel flywheel, clutch bell and spur gear. I run a .21 JPX which has a ton of bottom end so this set-up smooths out the torque curve and still has plenty of power.
