The RDRP B64 Carbon Fiber Battery Plate is a must have item for Team Associated B64 racers. While offering improved looks thanks to machined pockets, the plate first and foremost prevents the chassis from flexing unevenly in longitudinal direction as well as left to right. A machined slot in the plate frees up the movement of the chassis in longitudinal direction which leads to more natural flex and thus improved performance and much less tweak issues compared to the standard battery brace. This battery brace is machined from high-quality carbon fiber and it is a direct fit on the B64 and B64D.

I was not sure what to expect from this battery brace compared to the plastic that came with the kit. But the first time I installed it I liked it very much. Way more easy to remove a battery since the Brace comes off completely. I purchased all RDRP components for the battery tray including the bigger thumb screw and overall it's way easier to install and remove a battery.
