The optional Revolution Design +5mm Aluminum Chassis for the ultra-popular Team Associated B6.1 2WD buggy adds 5mm of length compared to the stock chassis for an easier to drive car, especially in high-bite track conditions such as EOS carpet and astro turf. This allows the car to pull faster single laps while offering greater consistency at the same time. In addition the chassis will also improve handling on bumpy surfaces for improved stability. The main plate is machined from aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminium for strength and optimized flex characteristics while the black anodized surface ensures high durability and factory looks. Machined silver edge details and laser-etched RDRP logos make the part stand out. The chassis is compatible with most “under servo” and “under electronics” weight sets.

5MM increase may not seem like a big difference, but with the desired hub placement and having enough room to line up electronics at the center line this car now drives completely different. At an indoor clay track it really holds its line even through the bumpy stuff. you will have to take some time to refine the setup again but the car now has whole new parameters.

I'm loving this chassis on the tight carpet track near me, a bit more stable compared to the stock chassis.
