The RDRP Carbon Fiber Electronic Mounting Plate is an industry-first for the Team Associated B6 buggy. The part was designed to be a drop fit into the machined pocket in the chassis behind the steering servo and allows the user to easily remove the speed controller and receiver from the car for cleaning and maintenance purposes. It hardly adds any additional weight to the car meaning the buggy's weight bias remains the same compared to alloy or brass parts. The mounting plate fits both the B6 and B6D and it comes including suitable mounting hardware.

Features:
  • High-quality carbon fiber
  • A direct fit on both the Team Associated B6 and B6D

Revolution Design B6 Carbon Fiber Electronic Mounting Plate w/Hardware
This item fits VERY tight in the chassis recess. Upon installing this item in the chassis, you'll think it won't fit because it doesn't 'drop-in' the recessed portion of the chassis without installing the mounting hardware. The mounting hardware is tiny which is good. It doesn't take up any space on the mounting plate. However, the nut is the size of a differential nut--maybe 4mm or 3.5mm. The only tool I had that would fit mounting nuts was a four-way wrench that was included with a buggy kit. Some people will attempt to sand the edges to make this fit better, but there is no need to do so after tightening up the mounting hardware. Also, sanding might compromise holes for the mounting hardware. The only reason this item does not get five stars is due to the difficulty of removing the mounting plate as designed. I can't get a carb adjustment screwdriver under it to leverage it out of the chassis. RD would do well to sand a 'divot' in the aft portion of this plate so a screwdriver could be used to lift the plate out of the buggy. I think this item is a good addition to a B6: it keeps the electronic components from being mounted directly to the metal chassis.
