This is a 17.5 Turn Reedy Sonic Stock Spec Brushless Motor. After a three-year absence, the Reedy name is making a return to the competition 1:10 electric motor scene. Reedy's Sonic line of brushed motors were a favorite of racers worldwide and powered numerous National and World Champions in the late '80s and early '90s. It is only fitting that the famous Sonic name be revived for the first complete line of competition brushless motors from the world-renowned Reedy brand.

Designed strictly for competition and already proven at the highest level, the Reedy Sonic brushless motors feature a lightweight case design with extra-large, strategically placed vent holes to reduce operating temperatures. Lower temperatures result in less fade over the course of a race, longer run times, and increased motor life.

A precision balanced high-strength sintered rotor is supported by dual ball bearings for maximum RPM and reliability. Adjustable timing and a variety of optional rotors allows for fine tuning for particular applications and tracks.

Reedy Sonic Stock Spec Brushless Motor (17.5T)
Only ran it shortly, but it did have more power then the Tekin I had before it, The timing cover is fragile i suggest keeping one in the pit box, if it cracks from a hit you cannot keep the sensor in place. I also had one of the hex screws that hold the case together come stripped from the factory. no reason to open it but my curiosity got to me. Local guys seem to love the motor once the plate comes in I will update. so far so good!

Reedy Sonic Stock Spec Brushless Motor (17.5T)
This motor is awesome with every thing dialed. 40-46 timing on the side makes this thing really shines!
Also running 70/30 gearing which keeps the temps around 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
Also talk to some local racers and they say it will run safe up to 180 degrees .
I didnt like it so much at first but once it was dialed i feel in love lol. Cant beat the Amain price either
