The Reds Racing R5R RACER V5.0 .21 Off-Road Competition Buggy Engine Combo includes the 2104 Pipe & S Manifold, as well as 6.5mm and 7.0mm venturies and the necessary accessories required for the exhaust system. The R5R Racer V5.0 features an updated one piece cooling head to improve engine cooling and efficiency. The engine has been designed with a 5 port sleeve and crankshaft timing to improve fuel efficiency and drivability and is suitable for both buggy and truggy.
The R5R Racer V5.0 is equipped with cutting edge nitro engine technology to improve reliability and guarantee the best performance on any track. The R5R Racer has been factory tuned to guarantee the same performance as a Pro level engine at a reasonable price. Every single engine is hand inspected and compression checked inside REDS Racing headquarters by Mario Rossi to achieve the highest quality standards.
It is recommendable to match this engine only with REDS Racing original pipes, manifolds and optional parts. Reds recommends the REDS 2143 or 2104 pipe and REDS S manifold:
- 2104 for a smoother power delivery and more top speed.
- 2143 for more torque and mid range power.

I just sent this off to Drake services today and I can't wait to get it installed when it returns. This little gem is the perfect price for my first try at something other than whatever it came with from the factory. I mean a Reds engine, manifold and pipe for 310+ tax is not a bad deal at all. Plus with Adam Drake giving it a glance over after he does his break in service I'm sure this little guy will be singing to the angels soon enough.
