Redcat TR-MT8E "Team Redcat" 1/8 RTR 4WD 6S Brushless Monster Truck
bought this truck 2 months ago. run good lots of speed on 3s 5000mah batteries. after 1 wk. pinion and spur gear wore out. I ordered new ones, to keep it running. 2 wks later same thing. warranty wanted pictures and a short video of the problem while making the video steering servo striped the gears. they sent me new gears and a servo. 1 mounth later steering servo striped again and gears are getting worn again. have had a tmaxx and hpi 4.6 savage for 5 years and never had this trouble. so I will take my lesion and go back to Traxxas. Byer beware. Update July 29 2018 The gears Redcat sent me under to replace the striped ones are still working great. I checked them for ware and still look good. The first ones must have been defective. The steering servo I upgraded to a steel gear one, no more issues. I would have to give the truck a 5 Star rating now, after the repairs and upgraded servo. I bash it every day. it turned out to be one tough truck. My 2 Boxers chase it every night for exercise. It is a keeper now.
