This is the Redcat Racing Blackout XTE 1/10 Scale Electric 4WD Monster Truck. Powerful and capable. The Blackout XTE is ready to run out of the box, and equipped with a brushed 550 electric motor, waterproof electronics, 2.4GHz transmitter, 7.2V NiMH battery and charger. The Blackout XTE will claw its way through the toughest obstacles.

A shaft drive 4WD drivetrain provides all the traction you need to maneuver any terrain, while the lightweight plastic chassis, and independent suspension with four oil filled coil over shocks deliver rock solid performance that is fast and affordable.

my parents got me this a while back and it is an awesome truck durable while being fast. it goes perfect with a venom 5000 battery
though I wouldn't recommend it for beginner's

Redcat Blackout XTE 1/10 Electric 4wd Monster Truck
After I bought this I looked at Tamiya differently.

Purchased on sale and for how much I paid it came complete. Unlike Tamiyas that need a battery, charger, servo, and remote to finish. Also this Redcat came with metal bearings, metal and greased differentials, metal dog bones, and metal turnbuckle links. I have crashed and flipped a bunch of times and it is still running. I would highly recommend this for a young learning driver.

The only time I'm gonna purchase another Tamiya is if it's a RC body that I really want.
