RC4WD Traxxas TRX-4 Rear Swing Away Tire Carrier Bumper
A beautiful product but beware of the weight! This bumper slash tire carrier is Heavy!!! It looks really good on the vehicle but there are no instructions on how to install it. The part that I have trouble with is mounting the tire carrier screw, you lock it down and it comes undone when you go to remove the rear tire. Another problem I encountered was when I went to install the jack that I bought to compliment the bumper RC4WD gives you these tiny little screws to hold it down. The problem is the amount of powder coating on the threads made it impossible to actually get the little screws to actually bottom out and really secure the jack so I ended up snapping one off. I do not know of anyone that would have a tap that small in order to clean the threads before installation. The last problem is that the Traxxas fuel cans do not fit. The fuel cans have to be angled in and then straightened out as you tighten them down. Hope this review helps.
