The RC4WD Trail Finder 2 1/24 RTR Mini Crawler Truck is the first 1/24 scale truck that comes out of the box with the highest level of detail in its class. A Mojave II hard body with full interior and chassis mounted servo are combined with 0.7" plastic beadlock wheels and super scale Mickey Thompson 0.7” Baja Claw TTC tires to provide an aesthetic that cannot be matched by other 1/24 trucks. The drivetrain features the R6 Mini Transmission and 1/24 D44 Scale Axles to offer true to scale 4wd performance.
The 1/24 Mojave II body is a highly detailed hard body with full interior. A hook and loop body mount system eliminates external body clips. Pre-painted tail lights and side marker lights add more realism, while an optional LED light kit is also available separately for bright, night trailing fun! The durable hard plastic interior simulates the look of a full-scale truck cab with sculpted vents, shift knobs, door handles and steering wheel. The square headlights, black bumpers and pre-painted grille provide a subtle, alternative appearance, compared to the chrome detailing of the 1/10 scale model.
Whether it’s outside on a trail or inside your living room, the 1/24 TF2 is a great choice for any scale enthusiasts of any size.

It looks awesome and that's about it
The stock motor, servo, esc/Rx and tx, and shocks and pretty bad
After changing the servo, esc, tx/Rx, shocks, and adding better wheels and tires it's finally starting to perform.
Hopefully sometime soon we can get some hop up parts for this thing
I think RC4WD has addressed the motor issue by now, but initially these came without the N30 motor pre installed. So I had to install the N30 right off the bat. It literally wasn’t a “nice to have”, but necessary for the truck to move out from under its own weight.
While installing the N30, I noticed one of the screws holding the transmission housing was stripped from the factory. In order to fix it, it’s a whole new transmission and motor assembly for $30. I’m not going to put a dime more into this rig, so it’s just disappointing to deal with.
The rear diff grinds something terrible.
The front left wheel wobbles terrible.
Lastly, the Velcro body mounts are utterly useless. The body falls off any time the truck tips on it’s side. Which is quite frequently, because the icing on the cake is this truck just..doesn’t perform well on obstacles.
It’s just wild to me that I can’t go return this truck at Walmart, where it belongs. Not the LHS I bought it from with strict (understandable) return policies.
Stay away from this truck. RC4WD should have put the same effort into this as they did the 1/10 TF2. It’s a shame this truck exists as it is.
