The Mud Slinger 2 XL is a taller version of the ever popular Mud Slinger tire. The original Mud Slinger measures out at 3.66" tall, by 1.42" wide. The XL comes in at a much larger 4.21x1.5" for improved clearance and a wider contact patch.

Edit: the reviews below are correct. I have now ripped two tires. First was kind of my fault. The beadlock was a little sharp and cut the tire. I filed it down. The foam tears inside the tire because the rubber is so sticky and the foam isn't great. Tried a proline stock foam and it started to tear too. Going back to Proline Hyrax for all weather conditions. .My friend had slightly more traction with his Predator compound and had more ground clearance because these are a little short. Worth a try for me but probably not for anyone getting to the end of this review.

I ordered these straight from RC4WD. They look awesome. Only lasted 2 runs. The front tires got a puncture. And when you drive now the tires just cave in and are deflated like. Basically you’re riding on the rims.

I assumed being the “XL” version that they would be taller. These are shorter than stock tires.
