The RC4WD Carbon Assault 1/10th RTR Monster Truck offers a full ready to run package built with premium parts, proven suspension geometry and a light-weight carbon fiber chassis coupled with rugged CNC billet aluminum components.
The Carbon Assault Monster Truck incorporates a chassis with multiple suspension mounts for various arrangements, suspension links that mimic dimensions of proven setups and a robust AX2 2-Speed transmission with hardened steel gears and a second gear for increased speed. Plus, two bodies are included! The first painted brilliant orange along with a complete sticker sheet featuring the epic Carbon Assault Logo, the second is an unpainted body so you can create your own racing scheme.
The Carbon Assault has components and features never seen on an RTR monster truck before. This truck is loaded with premium parts and is a great platform for both the beginner monster truck driver and the advanced racer alike.

NOTE:
- While some components may come assembled, we always recommend that you check the products to ensure all hardware is tight. In some cases, you may want to apply thread lock to some of the hardware that is already installed.
- Use good quality hex drivers to avoid stripping screw heads.
- Use thread lock when putting metal screws into metal parts.
- Steps marked with an asterisk (*) require thread lock.
- Use thread lock sparingly.
- Do not over tighten screws, otherwise you may strip the thread.

RC4WD Carbon Assault 1/10th RTR Monster Truck
I was very disappointed with this truck. With the hefty price I didnt expect it to come out of the box with screws completely backed out, Sway bars hanging, and buying 2 servos since the 2 that come with the truck went out on me within the first battery. I really want to return it... I also bought an SMT10 which was half the price but was a much better truck than the Carbon Assault.

As a ready to run I have to say this is way over priced. I’m very dissatisfied and disappointed in this truck. It’s very slow and the servo can hardly turn the wheels. Plus if you turn all the way the tires rub. Looks cool but that’s about it

RC4WD Carbon Assault 1/10th RTR Monster Truck
This is a unique and beautiful truck, there's almost zero plastic parts, the carbon fiber is very nice, and the aluminum parts are finished beautifully, nothing but a well designed, well thought out truck, like any RTR, the electronics are poor, but we all expect that, excellent wheels and tires on the thing too.
As stated in other reviews, yes screws loosen up and fall out in shipping, this is not usually true in an all plastic model, like Axial, but again, if you're a good builder, you know and expect these things, they rarely put Loctite on any models from the factory.
But for the experienced builder, this is a MUST HAVE MT.

RC4WD Carbon Assault 1/10th RTR Monster Truck
I bought one of these end of last year and wanted to review it. It’s a unique monster truck and has some nice machined aluminum parts! The quality is good ! I added a few hop up parts to it like aluminum C hubs and knuckles with steel drive shafts. The only problem that I had was burning up the shifting servo for the transmission , because the EPA’s weren’t set correctly for the 3rd channel on the transmitter! But overall I’m really liking this monster truck from RC4WD.
