The PSM B44.3 2.5mm Carbon Shorty Conversion Main Chassis was developed for low to medium grip surfaces and gives 44.3 owners a lightweight carbon option. It includes two 5mm carbon battery trays fitted to secure shorty LiPo batteries, and optional battery trays for saddle style LiPo packs are available (PSM01687). All included carbon items are precision machined by PSM in Germany from premium, impact resistant semi-gloss carbon fiber material.
PSM included the unique "AirMount" battery mounting system that allows the chassis to flex in both directions so it can generate optimal traction. The AirMount weighs 14.5g fully assembled, yet remains incredibly strong. The complete conversion reduces the overall weight of the stock B44.3 by almost 60 grams. That allows you to add balast weight where needed to you can get the car set up for your driving style or keep it as light as possible.
