ProTek RC Tamiya To T-Style Adapter (Female Tamiya/Male T-Style)
I use these as a quick fix to change the connectors on my Kyosho starter boxes to T-plugs, which I already have several 4s lipo batteries set up with. It works and it was a cheap solution to not have to solder one more thing.

ProTek RC Tamiya To T-Style Adapter (Female Tamiya/Male T-Style)
Definitely don't run on 4S! Mine melted down almost immediately! Tried to use it in a bump box... Not a good attempt!
But it's cheap!

ProTek RC Tamiya To T-Style Adapter (Female Tamiya/Male T-Style)
This adapter is a must if you’re running a 2s LiPo in a Tamiya chassis as most LiPo batteries come with Deans or T-Style plugs, the latter of which is a misnomer and sometimes gets confused for Traxxas or Tamiya plugs depending on what hobby store you go to.

My thoughts using it is that it’s meant to bridge the gap between the two otherwise incompatible parts. This adapter though tends to be on the looser side of fitment for my application compared to my other Tamiya chassis that has a Tamiya plug on the battery already. Speaking of loose fit, the connectors themselves within the Tamiya side tend to feel like they’ll just slide out and the shrink tube over them isn’t very well done. But aside from all that, it does the job well and I haven’t experienced a single issue running this. I’ve run off track, flipped the chassis on its lid, ran hard into a wall and yet this plug despite feeling loose, hasn’t once failed me.

So if you’re someone like me who thought they had everything they needed to run but realized they couldn’t because they didn’t have some things, perhaps this is that missing link to being able to bash. Get this and go have some fun!

The tamiya is bad quality, but deans is ok. Not a very good product.
