NOTE: To determine if this charger is suitable for your application, you must perform this calculation to determine the maximum amp rate the charger can supply. Divide the Watts of the charger by the Voltage of the battery pack. This will tell you the maximum amp rate the charger can deliver (Watts / Voltage = Amps). So using the 67 Quad AC as an example and a 6S LiPo battery pack, would be 80 Watts divided by 22.2 Volts, which equals 3.6 Amps. This means that the charger can supply a maximum of 3.6 amps to a 22.2 Volt 6S battery. This amp rate will gradually reduce as the battery voltage increases during the charge cycle.
IMPORTANT:
1) DO NOT leave the battery in your model when charging
2) DO NOT leave unattended when charging
3) ALWAYS balance charge the battery
4) ALWAYS use a LiPo charging bag
5) YOU MUST use a Li-Poly specific charger to charge the pack (NiMH or NiCD only chargers WILL NOT WORK!)
6) YOU MUST not over discharge the Li-Poly battery pack
7) READ & UNDERSTAND the instructions carefully before operating this battery

this charger is awesome just because i had a problem does not mean yours will there are a ton of these out there that have no issues. plus amain took care of mine with no problems i was a little disappointed that i had to pay for return shipping and insure it. but its fixxed and i will no longer complain.
Positives -
Solid and works well. Comes with lots of connectors, and 4 balance boards. 80 watts per channel is better, as many of the comparable chargers are 50 watts per, which is just a bit short for some batteries.
Being able to charge different types and sizes of batteries at the same time is nice. All 4 channels are totally independent.
Negatives are -
really loud fan. Sounds like one of my quads running on the table.
Horrible manual. After a bit, it becomes clear, but some items such as memory save / load, are not even mentioned in the manual. Still trying to figure out the memories. LOL
Overall, I think this will serve me well for many years, and yes I would buy it again.
**Positives: balance charges 4 lipo's at once and they don't need to be the same capacity or cell count.
comes with 4 balance boards
works off both AC and DC power without the need of an external power supply.
fully independent charging channels
charges relatively fast
very simple and easy to set up and use
**Negatives:
emits a warm or almost burnt electronics smell from the exhaust fan and has ever since the first moment it was turned on. Though everything works properly and nothing ever gets hot or even warm to the touch.
fan is always on even when batteries are finished charging until you clear all 4 channels after the charge is complete and then the fan finally shuts down. Be nice if the fan turned off after the last battery finished charging as it is rather loud.
Overall it's a good charger and a great seller with fast prompt shipping.
That is the best part!
