This is the ProTek R/C "Flak Jacket" Flame Resistant Lithium Polymer Charging Bag. LiPo sacks are required at most tracks, and are highly recommended for all LiPo applications due to the associated risks. When your table space is limited, the last thing you want is a bulky item taking up space. Plus, the size of most 2S - 4S LiPo packs doesn't justify using a large bag. Once again, ProTek R/C has you covered with a smaller, more convenient solution developed specifically for surface applications and smaller flight packs. Because less intrusive gear means more work space!
The ProTek R/C "Flak Jacket" is a conveniently sized bag that should be used when charging and storing your LiPo batteries. Its small 160x65x70mm footprint (16x6.5x7cm) will fit just about anywhere and is the perfect compliment to most 2S - 4S hardcase and softcase packs, as well as smaller flight packs. The space age materials and thick, industrial strength hook and loop fastener will help to reduce the severity of a LiPo battery fire, while the attached strap will allow you to move the battery to a safe place if a problem should occur.
NOTE: Due to the volatile nature of Lithium chemistry batteries, charging bags such as the ProTek Lithium Polymer Flame Resistant Storage Bag are required by many tracks, flight clubs and at ROAR sanctioned events.
WARNING:
- Never leave charging battery unattended
- Always ensure the battery is on a non-flammable surface
- Ensure flap is sealed while charging
- This ProTek R/C lithium charging bag is intended to reduce the chance of damage in the event of a lipo fire.
Instructions:
- Ensure that the charge rate is properly set and polarity is correct
- Attach charging leads to battery
- Place the bag on a non-flammable surface
- Place the battery into the Flak Jacket
- Route charge leads through the flap
- Close top flap and press hook and loop closure fully closed
- Charge battery using proper charging practices

the flak jacket is what I use on a daily basis. I stack three protek batteries on their side across the bottom and one on top. keeps my pit bag much more organized and compact. GREAT PRODUCT from protek!

Store all my Lipos in the Flak Jackets at all times for added safety. Holds 2 3s Lipos very well. No extended leads needed for the Onyx 235, charges nicely. Not awkward like the bags, takes up less table space.

Luckily I have not had to test the flak jacket in a real incident, but it feels as if it would do the job well. The Velcro is strong and the material is thick. The bag actually closes with Velcro in 2 spots so it really does seem like it would contain any fire.

Great battery holder, first one I received was not stitched properly, inside edge was coming apart at seam, Amain took care of it, no problem, new one is better design, all the velcro is much wider.

These little bags work great, we run them in our micro sprints with 4s batteries. They keep the heat out, protect from dirt, and the velcro is strong so we never have to worry about the batteries coming out. Been using them every weekend, 2-3 nights since March (currently July). I recommend them for safely charging and the hardships of dirt track racing!

Been using it for a few weeks now. Despite the non 5-star reviews, I think this bag do it's job. Althoug is not as big as described: I can only fit one 3S LiPo battery.

I purchase one of these charging bags and when it arrived I thought the materials were very thin compared to the other brands I have. About the ten or 11th time I used it the entire side ripped out along the edges on both ends were the top flap closes. (Not the stitching ..the material tore)
Sorry Amain...this protek item is a loser for what your charging and after it tore I looked at it closely and my guess is that had I had a battery fire when charging in that bag the material is half as thick as the two other brands I own and I really have my doubts that it would have even slowed the fire down from spreading at all. Poor quality material should never tore when opening it and big doubts if it would contain a lipo fire in a real world fire.

Fits 2S and 4S packs perfectly. The older ones were not put together as well, but the current updated model are excellent and have more velco so they secure better too. I have one of these for every Lipo I have. Highly recommend these!

I've purchased two of these lipo safe bags and the newer versions are much better quality. They do tend to come appart at the seams after a few months use, hopefully amain get this sorted on newer makes. I recently had a 5000mah 4 cell lipo go up in smoke and I'm glad it was inside the bag! It did its job well and would purchase without hesitation.

I just received this and about 2 inches of the white inner fabric has come out of the seam on the side.
I find it hard to believe a product of this nature wouldn't be more robust, with at least double stitching all the way though with thicker trimming etc..I have just contacted amain about it and I am sure they will help me out, I just hope they change the design of the product, after all it is made to protect people and property.
Will update when I hear back from them, but for the moment I cannot recommend this product.

Awesome LIPO Charging Bag... I got this bag for my (2) Pro Tek 5800Mah 2 Cell LIPOS for charging & my track requires all racers to use a LIPO Charging Bag... This LIPO Bag takes up very little Pit Space on my Table @ the track & packs away nicely in my hauler bag after a day of racing @ the track... This Pro Tek LIPO Bag is the very best one I have ever owned & would recommend this Charging Bag to any racer... I also like the BIG PRO TEK LOGO on the TOP FLAP on this BAG as well....

I prefer this style of Lipo-safe bags, but I'm not sure of their finishing quality. I had two of these, and on both of them the strap just fell off and the seam from the inside was opening up. Although A Main Hobbies took care of it, but it just makes me wonder how effective they will be if ever one of my batteries were to go on fire if it's already falling apart.
