This is the ProTek R/C AE B6.2/B6.3/B6.4 Grade 5 Titanium Turnbuckle Kit. These titanium turnbuckles are CNC machined and thread rolled to near-exact tolerances from high-quality 6AL-4V (Grade 5) titanium alloy material and polished to a brilliant finish. Each turnbuckle is marked with thread directions for easy identification, with standard sized threads on each end for the intended model.

Why Titanium?
Titanium is strong, dense and super lightweight. In fact, Titanium has one of the highest strength-to-density ratios of all the metal compounds, making it the best advantage for dropping weight without sacrificing strength or durability.

6AL-4V Grade 5
6AL-4V, or more commonly known as Grade 5, is a Titanium alloy mixture composed of 6% aluminum and 4% vanadium. It is significantly stronger than pure titanium but more expensive to manufacture. Grade 5 is the most widely used titanium alloy for its excellent combination of low weight, high strength and corrosion resistance.

Features:
  • CNC Machined Construction
  • High-Quality 6AL-4V Titanium Alloy
  • Reduces Overall Vehicle Weight
  • Fits AE B6.2/B6.3
  • Upgrade for stock suspension & steering links (servo link not included)
Note: To ease the installation of new ball cups, add a small dab of ProTek R/C "Premier White" Grease (PTK-1412) to the threads of the turnbuckle.

Caution. The left threaded end indicator, a machined notch just outboard of the square adjustment flats, is machined on the right threaded end of the turnbuckle. IMO it should be on the other side indicating the left threaded end as that seems to be industry standard for all other turnbuckles. This means that after figuring out which rod end goes on which end of the turnbuckle I installed the notched side on the right instead of the left so that all adjustments are like my other cars. It's not a deal breaker, but it's something the user has to be aware of.

Links are super thin and break easily. First time out, one broke by simply landing a jump. Do not recommend buying at all.
