The ProTek RC 35x35x10mm Aluminum High Speed HV Cooling Fan is a great option to keep your ESC and motor temps in check. The fan is a true 2S HV component that has been built to last with dual ball bearings and machined aluminum case. The case allows cooler operation of the fan motor, while also adding strength to the assembly, helping to protect the fan blades in the event of a crash.
A pre-wired 30mm long 2 pin JST connector is used for connection, and we include a 170mm long JST/JR adapter plug that allows you to connect the fan directly to the receiver or another source of power. The fan is ideal to keep ESC's or motors cool, and can be mounted to an ESC that is compatible with a 35mm fan, directly to the chassis with double side tape, or to the motor using an optional 35mm fan mount (not included).
NOTE: This fan should be installed at least 5mm away from the motor to allow sufficient air flow and prevent magnet interference.

Awesome fans. Put 2 in the Maxx and they fit just like the originals. No need to switch wires around on the connector as they are the correct way. Whenever I need another fan I would buy more of these.

These fans are nice. I am using them in a Traxxas Maxx for the motor and esc fan. So far they are much better than the factory plastic fans. The factory fans broke almost immediately after running it a few times. One of these ProTek fans has messed up on me once but I was able to easily fix it because it just barely came off the rotor thing it spins on. All I had to do was push the fan down a skosh and it was good to go. It has not messed up since. I also have the 30mm ProTek fan on my Rustler 4x4 VXL and it is nice too. This is a fantastic fan to have on the Rustler's motor since it gets hot straight from the factory. These fans are fairly loud but they move a ton of air. Even though these fans are kind of pricey compared to plastic fans, I believe they are worth it. I don't see myself having to buy another fan anytime soon.
