This ProTek R/C "Supreme Power" 100C Shorty LiPo Battery Pack is ROAR/EFRA/IFMAR approved and features 4mm bullet connectors, an X-Lightweight case design and 2C charge rates.

This battery is an awesome pack for 1/12 and 1/10 scale on-road cars, as well 2WD off-road vehicles looking for the absolute lightest battery pack possible. The battery is built using a hard plastic case that is required for use at sanctioned tracks and events, and includes two 4mm bullet connectors and one 2mm bullet connector.

Hi-Voltage Capable
This specially formulated battery features LiHV technology which allows the cells to safely reach a higher overall voltage (4.35V per cell vs standard 4.20V per cell). Achieving the higher voltage does require a LiHV capable charger, but the power gains are significant to the overall punch and power for the model. This battery can also charge and function perfectly at typical 2S voltages (8.4V), but please note: cell voltages exceeding 4.20V per cell is prohibited from sanctioned racing rules, such as ROAR, IFMAR, etc.

LITHIUM POLYMER SAFETY INFORMATION

IMPORTANT:
1) DO NOT leave the battery in your model when charging
2) DO NOT leave unattended when charging
3) ALWAYS balance charge the battery
4) ALWAYS use a LiPo charging bag
5) YOU MUST use a Li-Poly specific charger to charge the pack (NiMH or NiCD only chargers WILL NOT WORK!)
6) YOU MUST not over discharge the Li-Poly battery pack
7) READ & UNDERSTAND the instructions carefully before operating this battery

NOTE: When using high energy Li-Polymer Batteries, please do not over-discharge or over-charge batteries as this will result in over heated batteries. Discharging capacity can't exceed 80% of the max capacity of the pack after full charging to ensure a good cycle performance. It is recommended to fully charge a brand new battery before using and only discharge the battery 50% for first 5 cycles. Always monitor race time and/or set a low voltage warning on ESC (End voltage cannot be lower than 3.2v per cell). Do not use the battery that has too low a voltage.

Do not expose batteries to sunshine or store/charge batteries at the temperature above 35°C or in a closed car. The high temperature environment could cause damage to the pack or make it burst. If the battery becomes hot while fast charging, high current discharging or racing, do not charge the battery until it has cooled completely. Wait about 20 mins, then inspect prior to recharging.

ProTek RC 2S 100C X-Light Shorty LiPo Battery Pack (4mm) (7.4V/2800mAh)
This battery will make your car super light, more than likely under minimum weight! This allows you to easily place weight EXACTLY where you need and want it. The front or the rear etc. This is an Excellent choice for stock racing given the super lightweight nature of this pack. Generally STOCK 17.5T racing will have much lower current draw so you won't need to worry about run time with the lower capacity of this pack.

My particular pack is currently averaging around 3.2mOhms on my 308Duo charger. This is a bit higher than expected and some of my packs are under 2.0mOhms on my 308Duo. This is the main reason for the lower rating of this product for me. Lower IR means greater performance especially with Stock Racing.

ProTek RC 2S 100C X-Light Shorty LiPo Battery Pack (4mm) (7.4V/2800mAh)
I use this battery for practice and have not experienced any problems. Great addition for 1/10th buggy and stadium truck owners. I added a piece of foam to the top of battery for a snug fit in my 22t 2.0.

ProTek RC 2S 100C X-Light Shorty LiPo Battery Pack (4mm) (7.4V/2800mAh)
*** Update after almost 1 year battery tester says there at 98% health x 2 battery***

People will have good and bad experiences from products, weather it be from the product or user error. Trust me i have made user error enough times.

For me i thought i would try them out, they were on special.
At first wasnt impressed with them, but after 2nd night running i think there not bad.

** Good **
[There lightweight]
[They give me good solid run time for 5 mins]
[Good punch to jump triples]
[Feels good for 2 runs in one night]

**Bad**
[I think they dont like to many charges in one night, on third charge they had lost punch at end of 5min mains. It might be this is normal for battery]
[I assume your running stock, you need to get your car down on weight to get the best of these, i felt even dropping 20-50 grams in weight makes a big difference to 1/10 17.5 stock for me]

[I got basic 1 port hitec charger]

ProTek RC 2S 100C X-Light Shorty LiPo Battery Pack (4mm) (7.4V/2800mAh)
Excellent battery! Was worried about the power needed for stock 17.5/13.5 but after testing the 2800 with some 3400-3500 shorty's with the same 100c both on my dyno's and on the track this battery can hold it's own!

ProTek RC 2S 100C X-Light Shorty LiPo Battery Pack (4mm) (7.4V/2800mAh)
To Dimitri

You need a better charger to take advantage of a battery like this. Most Hitec chargers do not let you alter the end voltage of the charge. When you take your battery off the charger it will bleed off voltage and rest at 8.2 volts by the time you are ready to run your car. Many of the Protek chargers like the 612DUO allow you to bump up the end voltage. With a little trial and error you can get your batteries to rest at 8.44 volts to get the most out of your batteries for stock racing!
