This ProTek R/C "Supreme Power" 100C LiPo Battery Pack is ROAR/EFRA/IFMAR approved and features 5mm bullet connectors, a hard case "stick" design and 2C charge rates.
This battery pack is perfect for any 2S application that requires a high capacity, high current pack, including modified and stock class racing. This hard plastic case is required for use at sanctioned tracks and events, and is small enough to fit into all 1/10 touring cars and off-road vehicles.
This battery uses 5mm bullet connectors for an ultra low resistance connection. In fact the battery tubes can be accessed from either side of the case, allowing you to position the battery terminals in the direction that best suits your application! A set of 5mm bullet connectors and a 2mm bullet connector are included. Plus, a set of 5mm to 4mm adapters are included so you can continue to use your 4mm charge leads to charge your battery!
Hi-Voltage Capable
This specially formulated battery features LiHV technology which allows the cells to safely reach a higher overall voltage (4.35V per cell vs standard 4.20V per cell). Achieving the higher voltage does require a LiHV capable charger, but the power gains are significant to the overall punch and power for the model. This battery can also charge and function perfectly at typical 2S voltages (8.4V), but please note: cell voltages exceeding 4.20V per cell is prohibited from sanctioned racing rules, such as ROAR, IFMAR, etc.

LITHIUM POLYMER SAFETY INFORMATION
IMPORTANT:
1) DO NOT leave the battery in your model when charging
2) DO NOT leave unattended when charging
3) ALWAYS balance charge the battery
4) ALWAYS use a LiPo charging bag
5) YOU MUST use a Li-Poly specific charger to charge the pack (NiMH or NiCD only chargers WILL NOT WORK!)
6) YOU MUST not over discharge the Li-Poly battery pack
7) READ & UNDERSTAND the instructions carefully before operating this battery
NOTE: When using high energy Li-Polymer Batteries, please do not over-discharge or over-charge batteries as this will result in over heated batteries. Discharging capacity can't exceed 80% of the max capacity of the pack after full charging to ensure a good cycle performance. It is recommended to fully charge a brand new battery before using and only discharge the battery 50% for first 5 cycles. Always monitor race time and/or set a low voltage warning on ESC (End voltage cannot be lower than 3.2v per cell). Do not use a battery that has too low a voltage.
Do not expose batteries to sunshine or store/charge batteries at the temperature above 35°C or in a closed car. The high temperature environment could cause damage to the pack or make it burst. If the battery becomes hot while fast charging, high current discharging or racing, do not charge the battery until it has cooled completely. Wait about 20 mins, then inspect prior to recharging.

All the local racers told me I didn't need to buy these expensive protek batteries, that most of the numbers are just hype...
Boy was that not the case at all! While the SMC battery was perfectly fine and performed good for the small technical track I was running on, the difference was instantly noticeable! I had to turn up my throttle punch to 7 to match the feel I had on setting 3 with the protek.
I also noticed quite a difference in maintaining the power after launches as well. They are explosive with power and can be charged at a phenominal 2c rate. I have charged this pack 25 times now @ 7.5 amps and haven't seen the slightest bit of swell using my powerlab 6. Protek batteries are a perfect example to the age old saying, "you get what you pay for" and this battery really is all that hype! Buy one and compare it, you won't be disappointed with the price once you do!
