Well worth the money. SO well made, and no more worrying. Turned my 3s Slash with a Castle 4400kv from wheelie monster transmission destroyer into a perfectly drivable rocket. Get the carbon fiber clutch discs for an additional $11 or $12 and be done with traction and transmission woes. Please note that the carbon fiber clutch discs require some modification as they are slightly too large to fit in the spur gear. A must for those with any concerns about the stock transmission. My one complaint is I wish the differential was slightly tighter out of the box but the beauty of this setup is that can be tuned to the end user's liking. Still gets 5 stars from me.

Great product way more durable than the stock no more broken top shaft pin and a sealed diff all metal gears.

Pros:stout build, bullet proof diff, highly adjustable clutch. Cons: lower mounting holes mildly misaligned. Smooth under 3s power, geared a bit lower internally. Clutch was easy to dial in. I plan on buying more of these trannys for my kids and other trucks I own. It's the best 2wd tranny I've run so far. Lower mounting hole misalignment did not require any modifications to mount properly........2/28/2021 Now that it's properly broken in the slipper clutch isn't any more adjustable than a Traxxas. I'm running the clutch locked to keep it from spinning excessively. The inside of the tranny has held up well under 3s power and I still recommend it.

Transmission came in as decribed and worled great shortly after install. Shipping was fast just like it always is ordering from A-Main. I could go on and on about their outstanding customer service, but it proceeds itself.

I got the transmission and thought wow, maybe proline made it work this time around. The case design isn't any better than it's v1 original design. I applied it to a mild application before using it on my drag car and it didn't make it 15 mins through the grass in the front yard before the internals were blown apart. The internal idler gear is cast steel... it's steel but not the steel we think we are spending our money on. If you plan to run this transmission above 2s with a SE then upgrade the idler gear before you play with it. I now have a $130 paper weight over here because proline doesn't offer parts yet. The plastic inside the case is really shallow as well.

I bought my transmission in July of last year (2021), and here it is, January 2022. I haven't had any issues with this transmission. Very stout. I haven't broken anything inside yet at all, even on 3s. Do the regular maintenance on it and it will last. I may have to finally buckle down and get new bearings though, but that's only $15 bucks. Very happy with the purchase. Only complaint I have is that I wish they made different spur gears for this thing.

I put this in my rustler with a max 10 combo ran it on high speeds so far so good. I also changed up the gearing bashed with it and still no problems 10/10
