Please be advised, that I race offroad in the stock class with x2 Slash 4x4s. I've put these through the wringer as a racer and they're held up amazingly well. Outside of their rugged durability and aesthetically pleasing appearance, the performance of this suspension is U-N-R-E-A-L! I recommend these to anyone looking for a competitive edge, especially in the racing world. Add to it that Pro-Line has suspension tuning kits for this suspension setup and you're going to be thrilled.

I tested two Slash 4x4s, one after the other, at the club track. It's an enormous track, technical, huge hits, and fast straightaways, and this suspension outshined every other configuration that I tried. I noted lap times between the Traxxas GTR suspension, stock, and more, and the laps were far better with the Pro-Line suspension.

Do yourself a favor and upgrade to these shocks, regardless of if you're racing or bashing!

Great shocks and have used them for bashing for the last few weeks now, using them on my Losi baja rey 1/10 scale.

These work excellent on my Stampede! I bash around campsites and jump 4' regularly. Great all purpose shock.

Pro-Line PowerStroke Rear Shocks (2) (Slash)
After blowing apart my stock Slash 4x4 rear shocks in just the third run at my local track, I decided to throw down the cash and buy the PowerStroke shocks. I bought front and rear, and have been abusing these things for about two weeks now with no problems at all. These shocks can put up with some abuse. My back yard track is pretty rough on my truck and I have had no problems with these shocks. I highly recommend these for bashing or racing at the track.

This is an edited review as of 1-29-13. I deleted the review and replaced it because I recently bought these for a friend as a present and the e clip issue that I previously encountered was fixed. Proline replaced the shock shaft in the new shocks with the lock nut style shock shaft. Great product now!!!!!!

Shocks look good but to my surprise, they did not come filled with shock oil. It would have been nice if Amain let us know in the description of the product that you will need to also order oil with the shocks.

Good build quality and performance with no leaks. I run these on my 2.2 rig and my Losi Rock Rey. If you are gentle you can fit RC4WD super scale shock boots onto these to add some dust protection and appearance.

Replaced the stock shocks on the front of my sons Yeti and he even asked me what was different about his car. He said it looks like it running flatter/smoother. BTW he’s 5. Best mod to date.

I use Powers Stoke shocks on most of my builds. These are a must on HPI Blitz ese, they work great on my Proline Sct Blitz, and work just as good on as my TLR shocks. I have them on the front of my TLR 22 SCT 2.0 too now.

Put these on a Slash 4x4 MT Conversion. Smooth as silk. Seem very durable. I was up in the air between these and Losi 8ight shocks for my project, but I'm glad I went with the Powerstrokes. The dual-spring design gives it a cool factor and perform as advertised.

Very cool shocks! These especially work well with the Proline protrac suspension kit (Slash 2wd). The combination of the two makes a Traxxas slash very competitive.
