Z3 compound delivers grip on a variety of surfaces used indoor, including carpet, wood, cardboard and plastic. Softer Z4 Carpet Compound provides superior grip on a variety of surfaces used indoor (carpet, wood, cardboard, plastic, etc.)

My favorite carpet tire! Many will say to use the closed cell (blue) inserts. In my experience (about 10 sets) you will only notice a minimal improvement. The downside of the closed cell inserts is the stiffness that will limit the usable life. These tires will wear the outer edge pins inward from hard cornering and will begin to slide. The included open cell inserts will flex the tire and allow you to get a lot more life out of them.

I agree with the others here, this is the first carpet-specific tire I've tried, but I'm absolutely delighted with them, grip is practically PERFECT & after 4 full race days worth of running, I can't see ANY wear at all(this is from running 17.5 2WD buggy class), seems to work equally well on older grey carpet & on CRC's newer black carpet. Love 'em!
