Pro-Line Big Daddy Wide Drag Slick 2.2/3.0 SCT Rear Tires offer the bite and grip needed right off the line for your drag set-up, while giving the car an authentic, slick appearance. The Big Daddy tire has a massive 2" wide contact patch (25% wider than standard Short Course Drag Slicks) making them ideal for low-grip, no-prep surfaces while still fitting standard Short Course 2.2"/3.0" wheels.

Pro-Line engineers added extra webbing inside of the tire for added stability at the high speeds found in drag racing. The Big Daddy tire is made from Pro-Line's MC compound which has become a drag racing favorite for its incredible grip on a variety of surfaces and its resistance to stretching. Pro-Line includes soft gray foam inserts to allow the Big Daddy tires to fully conform to the track surface and provide maximum grip.

Pro-Line Big Daddy Wide Drag Slick 2.2/3.0 SCT Rear Tires (2) (Clay)
Pretty cool tire, hooks up well, works better on lower power setups, lower rpm. I put some 3s power to them and they turn into pancakes; the foam is a different open cell foam, vary soft compared to the hoosiers. The extra 25% of width is put on the inside part of the tire so make sure your shocks will clear before you buy these, I had to move mine in one hole (DR10) but clears fine. I put the stiffer blue foams that come with the hoosiers and it worked nicely, less ballooning, contact patch is in the middle but not the full tire, about 50% of the tire. I found the more heat I put to the tires the more they would balloon.

Pro-Line Big Daddy Wide Drag Slick 2.2/3.0 SCT Rear Tires (2) (Clay)
These look great on the car due to the extra wide rear look. They fit my J-Concepts bodies better - a little tight with my Proline body / guard clearance. Its a fine balance to get the offset just right & not hit the shock. Because the extra tread width has been added to the inside of the tire & the grey foam doesnt go all the way to the edge, it creates an un-even surface to the tread face. I seem to end up with a low spot right around the diameter of the tyre towards the inside edge.(I.E - the tread face is not flat) This doesnt seem to effect the performance too much - (probarly because as the tire balloons out its only running on the center portion anyway). ATM ive set it up on 2s with a fairly soft start & more midrange to top end and they hook up well out of the hole. Would have been nice to get the "HOOSIER" lettering included - or at least the masking kit for 2 tires...
