The Pro-Line Clear 1969 Chevrolet Nova Short Course Drag Car Body, a model specifically designed for the growing SC Drag Racing scene! This body is perfect for No-Prep Drag Racing and features an ultra-realistic one-piece body design and includes an optional add on spoiler to complete the drag racing look. No more messing with separate nose pieces to achieve scale front end detail.

Transform your Slash® 2wd into a scale ¼-mile beast with this retro hardtop sports coupe body, featuring all the scale details of the 1:1 counterpart. We recommend using our Hoosier 2.2" Drag Racing Front Tires on the front and Hoosier Drag Slick SC 2.2"/3.0" Drag Racing Tires in the rear combined with a set of our Pomona Drag Spec Wheels for the ultimate scale hot-rod look.

In order to create the most scale look possible, the body is designed with a narrower track width than a traditional SC body and will require some modifications to your 2wd Slash® to fit correctly.

  • Fully Licensed 1969 Chevrolet® Nova™ Body

Styling on this body is great! Mine for some reason is pretty thin, not sure if all proline bodies are like that now, as I still have a few proline bodies around from years ago and they are thicker. Being my first proline body for a no-prep car and first proline body since 2004, I was not expecting this. Anyway The first night out I clipped a cone (standard traffic cone we use to mark the finish line) and the body now has a permanent crease over the front left fender from that hit. I have hit the same cone with my previous JC Mustang body and I have no creases so be wary of this when buying, and the price just went up. I may have just gotten a bad one but I'm not complaining as it helped lighten my car a bit. I would still buy another. 5 Stars for looks!

I think the Proline 69 Nova is one of the most realistic of the drag bodies so far. The proportions are almost spot-on for the fact that the short course drag cars have to be proportioned so oddly to begin with (short and wide)even with the shorter Bandit arms. I think Proline hit the mark right on the dot with this one... I added a custom 3D printed blower and headers to this and it looks SO mean!

Thank you for another hit!

Purchased it for my drag slash along with some paints.
I also ordered the front bumper for the slash mustang. It added more support to the front of the car. Its holding up pretty good.

When I picked up my DR10 kit shortly after they came out, I grabbed one of these Nova bodies along with a couple other models. Long story short, I’ve found that the Nova body just seems to fit and look better than the others, and while I was having issues dialing the car in and it seemed to spend a lot of time sliding across the parking lot at high speeds on its roof ruining the great paint job I had done, it wasn’t long before I grabbed a second Nova body to only use for display purposes. Apparently throwing a ton of random mods along with a 2.5t Trinity motor/Tekin RX8 esc into a drag car when I knew nothing about setting one up probably wasn’t the smartest or easiest way to try drag racing RC’s.

A great looking body overall. Good details in the moulding and very nice proportions. I have the black one as well as this clear one. They are both A bit inconsistent with the thickness of the polycarb. Very thin around the bottom of the doors and very thick is other places - even bunched up a bit around the bumpers. My clear one has a big casting line right over the bonnet and down the front guards which detracts from the looks a bit.
