Pro Boat Valvryn 25" F1 Tunnel Hull RTR Brushless Boat w/2.4GHz Radio

I purchased this boat a few months ago. I use it a number of times every week. I use it for fun and to chase away nuisance water fowl on a large lake. It is very responsive with quick acceleration and sharp turning ability. It is also very manageable at lower speeds for confined areas or beginner operators. The remote also has settings for limiting the speed to 50% or 75% or 100%

It did surprise me by how low it sits in the water when it is not in forward motion. I learned to put it in the water and give it a little throttle and it instantly gets right up on top of the water. I consider the self righting feature essential as faster rc boats do flip and land upside down when they are way out of reach. This boat rights itself and the fun continues with no need to launch a rescue mission.

The top has a pretty good seal. I stopped using sealant tape after the first week. When I see more than a small spoon full of water in the inside I know it is time for fresh grease on the propeller shaft to help keep the water out. The electronics are all waterproof.

I use a 3 cell battery. At slow to medium speeds I get a half hour out of a battery. When running at full throttle I get between 10 to 15 minutes of battery life. I carry a small battery meter about the size of a key fob that reads the battery percentage and the voltage when plugged into the battery. The boat will pause and go, and pause and go if the battery gets too low.

The control range is impressive. The boat goes so far away that it is hard to see and it consistently responds to the controls. I do make certain that the antenna wire is pointing up when I put the top on. I am pleased that I chose this boat and others that operate it are also impressed with it.

Quick little boat but there are a few things that I dislike about it. The marine tape starts to pull the decals off the hull, the hatch is a absolute nightmare to get the thumb screw started!!!!!

this motor can not be Motor Size: 280mm x 50mm (11 inches long).
3 stars because i rely on accurate information on a $300.00 rc boat.
i'll assume it's a 28mm-29mm x 50mm can.
