Pro Boat Sonicwake 36" Self-Righting RTR Deep-V Brushless Boat (White)
Awesome boat runs great on 6S needed very little tuning out of the box.
Getting about 7-10mins of runtime on a Gens Ace bashing 6S 6800mah 120C battery. Would definitely get a tube of grease and an EC5/IC5 connection loop when ordering. Be sure you have a good 100W+ charger to get a few runs in per day. A few batteries would not hurt as well.

Pro Boat Sonicwake 36" Self-Righting RTR Deep-V Brushless Boat (White)
My first RC powerboat. It had a few teething problems, but once those were resolved it's a lot of fun!
Out of the box the flex shaft lubrication was completely inadequate causing vibration and loss of power. But after pumping grease into the stuffer tube from the prop end and generously greasing the flex shaft all of this went away.
Second problem was that the throttle didn't reach full output in normal direction. Reversing the throttle switch and pushing FORWARD on the trigger got full power. I will try recalibrating the ESC before taking her out again. So...not a great initial quality experience (minus 1 star), but wow does it go!
2 x 5200mAh 3S 120C batteries gives me a about 4 minutes of flat out run time before the ESC limits power. I will try setting the LIPO cell count in the ESC to match my batteries rather than using the default AUTO setting to see if that extends the run time. It's surprisingly easy to drive. And the speed was impressive....spectators were surprised to find out it runs on batteries!

Pro Boat Sonicwake 36" Self-Righting RTR Deep-V Brushless Boat (White)
Self righting, 6S, dual watercooling, fast & stable (with minimal trim tab tuning). If you're only getting one boat, this would be it. The V2 with the larger trim tabs, shorter rudder & reinforced hull makes a huge difference in performance out of the box over the V1 (which I also own).

I did change to a larger prop from RCBoatBitz, which turned this thing into a missile with 6700 150C SMC batteries. I also have a couple budget friendly 5800 120C Ovonic batteries which also works well with this boat.

This boat does have one takeaway. The receiver box it comes with is not actually waterproof. I do find moisture & at times, water inside the receiver box. A friend of mine also has this boat & although the receiver is supposed to be "waterproof," the bind circuit in his Spektrum SR315 shorted out. I swapped my receiver box out with a Traxxas unit.

Great boat.

Pro Boat Sonicwake 36" Self-Righting RTR Deep-V Brushless Boat (White)
An absolute blast, very fast, very controlled. I have yet to need to use the self righting, and the only con is the lack of battery indicator on the transmitter or warning when the packs are done.

Pro Boat Sonicwake 36" Self-Righting RTR Deep-V Brushless Boat (White)
Great boat! V2 addresses the few issues the V1 had, it’s now the perfect “basher boat”. Not a race boat, but performance is close. Tough, fast, self righting, a true joy on the water. New spektrum motor and esc combo stay cool, good run time for a boat this size. This boat wants to be “up on plane”. I can’t say enough good things about this boat. I’m using 5500mah 120c lipos. You need over 100c in my opinion if you want to cruise fast. Lesser batteries will heat up and hit lvc quickly. So don’t cheap out on the batteries and you will be happy.
Great job ProBoat!
