The kids love it, and I love it!

I got this boat from a good deal Amain throw out a few months back, and finally got a chance to run it in the lake during the July 4th weekend. Surprisingly enough, this boat is super fast, easily hitting 40 mph without any issue. Since it's too quick, the kids are having a hard time to control it at high speed, adult like myself finds it's a lot of fun to run at full speed in straight line.

The only thing needs to be aware is, DO NOT make a sudden maneuver at high speed, just like driving a vehicle, slow in and fast out at the corners or make a turn. I was less experienced "sailor" and the first I made a sudden maneuver caused the boat to flip upside-down. Followed the manual instruction, made a few attempts, the boat eventually turned back. However, when the second time it flipped, the battery was pretty much drained, and I had to take a kayak out to collect it.

Some buyers may experience the water get into the hull, it's not because the boat is leaking, but the hole to let antenna wire out isn't sealed.

The hull and the deck are glued together using silicon paste during the time the builder screwed them together, so they won't be separated freely even all the screws are taken out. This caused one issue is the sponge inserted at the front of hull cannot be taken out to be dried thoroughly when certain amount of water got into the hull. This is the only reason I took one star out. Otherwise it's one of the best toys for both adults and kids.

Pro Boat 17" Power Boat Racer Deep-V RTR Brushless Boat (Miss GEICO)
Really fun and simple boat to drive with what feels like forever run times. It's super fast for it's size, but it can get a little squirrely at high speeds. The self-righting feature does work every time, but sometimes it does take several attempts. I thought it would be a pain to remove the shaft because of the outboard setup, but it was super simple to remove and lube. I think I need another one for my wife now!

It is suppose to be self rightening, and the first turn I took it flipped and I have to wade in the river to get it.
