This is the ParkZone Sport Cub Plug-N-Play Electric Airplane. The full-scale Cub Crafters Sport Cub is an inspired reinvention of the Piper Super Cub that is introducing a whole new generation of aviators to the wonder and excitement of back country flying.

The ParkZone Sport Cub park flyer is a fantastic recreation of this aerial adventure machine that will open a new world of possibilities for RC pilots too. Constructed of durable, lightweight Z-Foam material, it shares many of the same aerodynamic features that give the full-scale version its light wing loading and superb short field abilities. Oversized tundra tires for flying off grass and other rough surfaces are included. Those in search of the ultimate RC bush flying experience have the option of adding floats and functional flaps.

ParkZone Sport Cub PNP Electric Airplane (1300mm)
Another great plane from Horizon, Grass landings are no problem with large tundra wheels, running 2200 mah battery with flight times at 12 min +

ParkZone Sport Cub PNP Electric Airplane (1300mm)
1st flight from short grass yesterday. Used 3s 2200 batt. fly's like a dream! Quick easy take off, fly's smooth, easy soft landing. Getting up to 12+ min flights at half throttle doing touch and goes on grass. Love it. Next- floats.

Got the floats. Drilled out and installed larger prop that comes with floats. Too much wind at lake so flew later with wheels and large prop. Picked up 50% better performance with prop. Installed flaps, waste of time. Lands better without them.

ParkZone Sport Cub PNP Electric Airplane (1300mm)
This plane makes one an expert in very short order! It can take a beating and keep on ticking!! I speak from experience!!! Three point landings are almost a yawning experience. Flying inverted, doable.

I broke the stock prop and replaced it a with 10x7 slo-fly prop. Perfect. Of course I broke that too, but no big! I'll stick with the SF prop because it least it LOOKs like a prop!

I think this thing is an absolute winner. Now, in all fairness, I'm 76 and have been flying for only a few months. So I'm probably biased. Of the 9 planes I have, this one is by far the easiest to fly and make me look good. AND, it's the first one I didn't crash on its maiden flight!!! or any since!
